IT Support Engineer in Financial Markets

Job description
For our customer in the Financial Services Industry we are Looking for a IT engineer taking care of the first line support and the functional analysis of Financial Markets Back Office applications. The person will need to follow up all major requests from the users of the Business Applications and will be involved in major projects that concern these back office applications. Aditionally the person will be involved in the creating of tools to offer direct and automated solutions.
Collect and analyze requirements
Offer immediat solutions
Work on long term solutions in order to improve the overall performance of the applications
Follow interventions and ensure the communcation between different departments
Maintain an excellent relationship with the Business Users
Skills
IT bachelor or equivaltent
Good knowledge of The Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel
Some experience in VB in order to create macros or automate processes
Good organisational skills in order to retrieve infromation rapidly
Structured and at ease integrating in a team
English/French - Dutch is an asset
